Pasta Perfection!!

Collin's favorite food is STILL pasta...and his favorite pasttime is making a complete mess! Needless to say.....he heads straight to the bath tub after dinner.

Summer Fun

Grandma bought Collin a "sprinkler" pool for summertime fun...and boy, did Collin have fun!

Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

The end part of June and the month of July has been a tough one for Collin. He's been sick off and on with ear infections, sinus infection, eye infection and head colds. We found out he's allergic to Augmentin when he broke out into a horrible rash all over his body and face. Even though he's been sick, whenever we get the camera out, he's ready to put on his "cheesy" face and ham it up.

Collin's First Haircut

It's a tradition in my family to wait until a baby turns 1 to get their first haircut and Collin's came not a moment too soon. While we were on vacation, we went to Razor Ray. He is the barber who has cut Christian's hair for the past 20 years until he moved to Florida. Collin didn't shed one tear....and now looks like such a big boy!

Vacation 2009

We had such a great time on our vacation this year. We went to the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC and the surrounding areas of Cherokee, Maggie Valley, and Pigeon Forge, TN. We went swimming at Looking Glass Waterfall where Corey went entirely into the waterfall. Christian went as close as you can get and I only went knee-deep...the water was about 48 degrees...way too cold for this Florida girl's blood. We found a little alcove created by rocks and Collin had the time of his life playing in the water. We then went to Sliding Rock which is a natural rock formation that is used as a waterslide. Again, Christian and Corey were the brave ones, while Collin and I took pictures and watched from the sidelines. On the third day of vacation, we went to Chimney Rock Park where we hiked 1.5 miles to a beautiful waterfall. We then went to my in-law's and had a great time with them, as well as my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jay and Kelly and their boys and my brother-in-law, Paul. It was a completely successful and fun vacation except Collin got sick towards the end of the trip. I took him to the pediatrician yesterday and he was ear infections in both ears, a sinus infection and a head cold. He's pretty miserable right now, but every now and then, we see if wonderful little personality come through and we get a smile. He's such a little trooper.
